Media Solutions is a privately held company based in Dubai Media City, United Arab Emirates.  The company was formed in April 2004 to focus on opportunities in the Information Technology, Media & Broadcast, and Telecommunications industries across the Middle East, North Africa (MENA), South Asia and South East Asian regions.

IT Division:

Its Boutique Media consultancy business is renowned for its ability to provide creative, but practical solutions to the cable, satellite, terrestrial television, and media & entertainment industries.  Established by Altaf Alimohamed, Media Solutions focuses primarily on emerging markets, providing strategic, implementation and operational advice to its clients in the Middle East, Indian subcontinent and South East Asia.

Combining technical expertise with real market insight, Media Solutions is uniquely positioned to execute planned strategies and to deliver powerful financial results.  Our firm can also provide analytical trouble-shooting of on-going business operations including business strategies, management structure and sales performance.

Our Management

Altaf Alimohamed:  Managing Director - has over 20 years of experience in the Media and Technology sectors. Prior to establishing Media Solutions FZ LLC, Altaf Held several senior level positions during his 10 year tenure at STAR Television based in Hong Kong.

Through this role, Altaf gained an in-depth perspective of the structure and dynamics of the television sector in the Middle East, India and Asia. A few highlights of his career at STAR:

1. President Digital Platform Group during which time, Altaf was responsible for planning and negotiating STAR's DTH joint venture in India,
2. Executive Vice President Business Development during which time he was responsible for for strategic planning for STAR's business in Asia and the Middle East,
3. Regional Director Middle East and India during which time he was responsible for launching STAR's first pay television services in India and the Middle East.

Talal Yassin:  Director - Co-Founder of Metrobridge Networks (MBN) in Vancouver, Canada.  MBN is a leading wireless provider, delivering broadband access using pre-WiMax and other advanced wireless technologies.  Its highly redundant mission critical network provides connections up to 2500 Mbps in Arizona and British Colombia.  Talal is also Chief Executive of Spartan Capital and Investment Company.
